Ed Bonner is the principal of Auditing Enterprises. He holds a BS Degree in business from California State Hayward and an MBA from St Mary's College. He has taught Taxes, Accounting, and QuickBooks, part-time, at couple of local colleges. Now as a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor, and an IRS Registered Tax Preparer, he puts on several workshops on these subjects.

 

After a couple of years preparing taxes on his own, Ed enhanced his training at H&R Block. Shortly after that he went to work for IRS and after intensive training, worked as a Tax Payer Representative. Eighteen months later he co-founded sister company, Accu-Count, in California and then expanded into Reno as Auditing Enterprises.

 

Although not required in Nevada, Ed completes annual continuing tax education to meet strict California tax preparer requirements. In addition he completed the IRS competency exam and the IRS now requires all preparers to complete continuing education credits to maintain a mandatory Pin Number (a registry of tax preparers). All legitamate tax preparers are required to have a Pin Number.
